The Spoke Tour Cycling staff have created a variety of back road touring maps for bicycling throughout America. Rather than waiting for specific bike club events to travel to your favorite part of the country, we thought it would be useful to create an opportunity for cyclists to choose their destination, download their favorite map and then ride at a more convenient time. These rides have been created for the "true bicycle tourist" and are not necessarily for those wanting to race on well groomed roads. We have designed an opportunity for those wanting to see America, from the country road perspective, searching to enjoy local attractions and not set century records.

We are currently gathering approved bike routes all over the country and we hope to have our printable pdf maps available for the 2012 summer season. The routes will designed for intermediate to serious cyclist who are looking for self-guided, two-to-three day tours, averaging 50 to 100 miles per day.

With the help of local bicycle groups, the Spoke Tour Cycling staff is creating dozens of maps, with interesting sight-seeing tips and convenient places to stay. The staff is working tirelessly on finding some of America's most beautiful paved back roads with an emphasis on local treasures and unique places to visit.  We always welcome ideas for new locations and routes.
